Happy Halloween everyone! Here's a fun idea for Halloween... or that will keep you kiddo entertained for days! |
This look to me says... Yes, I know my mom dresses me up as a lot of things but this time I approve. |
Here she is... DM67 Vintage Fighter Plane. Add a bomber jacket and some aviators and there you go... Salute! |
The kid was crazy about the cockpit... |
What a little paint and some gadgets, from an old broken fan, can do for a child's imagination. Unbelievable. |
Once he was up and running that was it... |
Flying through the chalkboard wall sky like no other... |
Honestly, this went on for quite some time. |
.... |
I love the, airplane sound, facial expressions! |
Ok, so here you go. It's very simple. 1. Propellers, from a broken fan. : ) 2. Drill 3. Glue Gun 4. Utility Knife 5. Long screw and washer |
Drill into the center of the propeller |
Cut the flaps from the box and an open space from the top. |
Use your utility knife to create the shapes of the wings and the tailplane. |
And piece together. |
I used the glue gun to secure the wing flaps on the interior side on the plane. After some wear and tear on Doaks part I added wooden rods under the wings for extra support. And paint as desired. |
DM67 would like to say Happy Halloween to all of you out there... Have fun and be safe! Much love, Melis |
